Xiaofang Li has been a PhD student at the college of science, China University of Petroleum, China since September 2015. She is now a visiting PhD student at the Research School Physics and Engineering at The Australian National University, Australia.

Her current research interest covers multi-scale simulation methods combining quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo approaches. With a background in materials Science & Engineering, She focuses on the theoretical investigations of designing and functionalization of porous carbon-based materials for gas separation, capture and storage.
